Things In The Sky: Stars and Dragonflies

More things on shoes. Though this post is generally more sparkly than the last, I cannot promise you that this will be the last time my red pumps will show up. I'm now going to find my other blanket then brush my teeth, but ignore me and scroll away.

Shoes from Muji. It's a dragonfly. NOT a butterfly

What the raw photo would look like. I'm so flattered to have such a bejeweled
insect going about my shoe
DRAGONFLY necklace borrowed off an Aunt (meaning I don't know where it came from )

I used an ancient camera for this shot. Not
Red pumps from Payless. Necklace from Hong Kong.

Sexy back. Sparkly back. Yeah (thinks of Happy Feet 2 trailer)

Rings Fetish

I've been really busy lately...either that or i have a really bad sense of time management. But anyways, I have taken a huge batch of photos today and will sort them into collections so i have a constant stream in the coming weeks. Have an awesome time with my newly acquired editing skills!

My dear friend got me this because she remembered that I loved stars. Isn't it adorable?
I got the shoe in Hong Kong too btw
Muji shoes from HK

Because studs add the right amount of rocker chic vibe
Accessorize rings, Comfort plus Payless red suede shoes

The textured stacking rings are in earth and metallic tones, so I thought the wooden heel
would sit it more

Via Spiga (it was on sale) , forever 21 rings again

So this is everything put together...and my red suede comfort plus pump

Photography needs work but I adore the shades
of the picture like a long lost photo
Aerosoles shoes borrowed of one of my many relatives for this purpose alone

Le Bonne Vie

I don't speak French, in fact I could only say "I'm not sorry" in French. Ironic isn't it? I forgot the entire sentence of which those words were part of, but forget about me and check out this really cute from accessories my friend, Erika. She's got excellent taste

Amethysts for eyes. Purple anyone?
Also, can anybody see the Tucan and its long terrain of feathers in the back?

I learned how to used the effects on iPhoto today and it brought the ridges of the owl's eyes.
It's not much for now but it's a start to less raw photos.

Le bonne vie; the good life. Or so google translate says. I used my newly acquired skills to
 bring out the brass coloring.

Smudged, almost liked it was painted by brushes. The necklace is a piece of
art in more ways than one that way.
P.s. thanks to my mom for lending me her ipad cover for the background of this shoot.

Whimsical Blue

While I was scouring the streets of Hong Kong,I had the chance to grab new members for my accessory collection. Some were in these lovely in between pastel and robin's egg blue. Sophisticated but to my taste, I grabbed a necklace for one of my BFFs and a bracelet that I can wear with my bangles.Pus I got off those little kiosks which add to my giddiness as a bargain hunter. hihi

A real golden beauty, snagged it with two other necklaces for a 3 for 100 hk dollar deal. It brings back childhood memories and has a touch of vintage.

The bracelet with the fake pearls and blue stone is the one I bought from Hong Kong's forever 21,
the other one is part of my bangles.

My arm posing as those circular things for bangles. On a related note, this is how
it looks like live and on flesh.

I almost fell of the chair and hit myself on the wall to get this shot.
Anyways, the pearls set off the bracelet along with the twisted textures.

I like how the chains bring more focus to the metallic elements of the bracelet and shape
of the blue crystals.

Chanel Nail Polish: Peridot

I absolutely love my Chanel Nail Polish :) I didn't buy a lot during my shopping trip so i my grandma got me this. The color is just gorgeous and and it dries way faster than my Japanese nail polish. It's like a combination of the good things of my nail polish that way.

Chanel is famous for its simplicity, down to its nail polish boxes! It really does
exude elegance.

The color switches in light, it might have blueish green tints in some lights
or all gold in others.
The cover should be removed before you can twist
the brush
Who knew that secondary sponsor headpiece would go with my nails?

delicate carnation. See the blueish green tint?

back to gold again.

Gold. See what I mean?! I like the tribal feel the shoes add though

Korean Nail Polish: ETUDE

I am on a nail polish craze lately; bought two from Japan, bought 3 more when I came back and 1 more from HK duty free airport. How am I going to keep them from drying when I can't use them during the school year? Well, I figure that later. For now, please enjoy these matte and marshmallow shades from Etude.

Hell yeah! Finally found the right skin tone nail polish for me!! Its perfect
for my yellowish skin with a touch of tan and it is not thick at all unlike
the face shop (of which is the same price)

Since its the shade of frost baby colors, it didn't change much
when I dabbled some on my left hand
Etude= rose shaped headers

Alternating them on my fingers really bring out each other.
pink + blue= (not necessarily the background) purple!
Flower Treatment nail polish remover does the job
right AND smells like apple candy! Wash
your hands after use though
P.s. Watch out for my indulgence of the trip: my Chanel nail polish. Also, beware of chipping of Etude matte colors in 5 days or less. It took mine 5 days with minimum nail action (meaning painting, grabbing cameras, typing and knocking around the kitchen for food).

Japanese Nail Polish: Pa

I recently tried out my haul from Japan and it was awesome! If not almost impossible to dry, either ways, I think the presentation of the bottle has a nice personality to it and the size of the bottle is just right, because I'm only allowed to wear them on non school days anyway

This tarty  bright yellow green shade is really versatile, it could go with almost
any color of footwear :)

It reminds me of skittles when paired with my purple flip flops, and it does
not only make my toes look like candy, it shows off my flip flops too!

The gold really sets off the green surprisingly well, and it gives a
muter but still eye-catching feel to the footwear.

On a completely unrelated note, I was able to unveinify
my feet without edit on these photos, hihi :)
