Made In China Sketches

Just a few sketches I made while sitting around Xiamen :D

The girl was supposed to be doing a fifth position

What my hair supposedly looks like. Btw,
she is holding a necklace

The details of the seaside couldn't be seen with the regular sizes so excuse it going over the borders.

The harbor, complete with the little speedboat on the left

The view outside my hotel room. The bushes under the fences aren't that clear. The fences were done using one way perspective and was hell!

Amusing Typos

I've been in China last week, and I will be traveling around unable to post accessories until further notice. meanwhile please enjoy some wrong grammar that have made the past few days a little more amusing

It took a few seconds for me to realize that it meant anti-slip

My brother's apparent favorite.

For the sake of your safety, please hang up after
to used.
It meant the hairdryer

Midweek Post: Old Restaurant

Last weekend, my family went over to this restaurant which was a renovated house turned food place that reflected on local culture. Food was okay, except that I felt I was food-tasting most of the time. I couldn't finish their desert though and their peanut butter hot cocoa doesn't taste weird at all. We took a tour up on the fancier rooms but we weren't allowed to stay up for so long (clingy waiters made sure of that). So here are some pics

Lovely light fixture really :)

It has a rather old fashioned feel to it with a modern twist because of
chairs and painting

Different Lightings

Before I lose another caboose of thought, I'd like to thank Erika L. for lending some her stuff for this post. As promised, I will post them here but I'm sorry to say, I couldn't a descent photo for all. I guess my skills need work. By next week, my summer "triathalon" will begin, wish me luck as I juggle my activities. Hope everyone's having fun,

These keys are actually brass colored, the lighting just makes it
look 5 and a half shades darker.

Don't you just adore the jungle theme?

The lighting does wonders for its behind. Sounds wrong but it does give
it a more dramatic touch.

I twirled the necklace then this shot came out, sunsets are truly lovely (if not
annoying when you're using them with sequin items.
P.s. might be traveling soon so my weekend posts might be occasionally off timing.

Just Some Photos From My Weekend

I have been putting off this post, mostly because I had exams, then jazz and bonding with my class, then i got lazy yesterday. Summer has officially started though I have to find some way to get back on my writing mojo. I need to accomplish at least 2 before summer ends, amidst busy schedule and all. The first pictures were from my trip to a ship called, Logos Hope that sells books and employs Christian volunteers, the second set comes from the Japanese mid-summer festival. So anyways, here they are :)

This lady was standing out in the sun from the time I was in line till
I was out of the bookstore. She works for Logos Hope as a volunteer.
She must have a large amount of patience stay out in the tropical heat!

They looked tempting but home baked ones taste better.
On the other hand their ice cream is totally worth your buck.

It's shaped like a cross, anyone notice? hihi

The shot came off just at the right moment

The red colors are just so Asian! The floating glowing marbles are
actually floating lanterns

Out of Pages of Someone's Book

Fact of the day: Did you know yoghurt improves bad breathe to better breathe? Dairy trivia aside, it's exam week. Only 3 more school days before ultimate freedom (sort of) ! Anyways, here are more of Hello Emily's accessories...working on the next batch from another friend's. Post them next week hihi

Glittery blue green heart earrings, so cute :)

Yes, its familiar but I just had to use this background!

Mine is the less pastel grey on the left.
Hello Emily owns the one on the right.

Though slightly unrelated, chocolates are delicious and you
could certainly enjoy one while reading to kill tim.

Well that's all for now folks. I think I'll post on a more vinatge hue next week.

Round Things and My Painting

This week, I was a good girl. Prioritized studying to dancing, so skipped ballet AND jazz. All because I memorized the wrong verses for a poem, had quizzes on Math and science on the same day.Exams are on next Friday onwards so I might not post that much, but anyways here are a few photos in the meantime.

Tried to copy a painting out of a chinese art book.
Ended up doing my own version, hihi :)

A Rope of pearls splayed on an Oriental scarf. How Asian
could this get?

Going with the flow of the pattern

Its on a snowflake like patterm. Really lovely cocktail ring. It also
brings in a sense of glamour for something with a touch of vintage.
P.s. thanks to Hello Emily for her ring and some other accessories i'll be posting next week.
